Booked a family room. The ceiling fan clearly hadn't worked for some time as it was full of dust and cobwebs. Bedding was dirty and had not been changed, full of human hair and smelled of sweat. Clumps of hair on the floor and on the bedding. Floor was sticky. When we reported this, the hotel manager arrived with just a duster, no clean bedding or vaccum. We then asked for an alternative room which they couldn't do and they refused a refund when we requested it. We checked out that evening and went to alternative accomodation.

Comfortable enough and clean, no uk tv channels. kettle in room was full of lime scale.|We were traveling to Gibraltar (curtainside rigid HGV). I had booked in advance. As we pulled in to the ample car park and settled our truck we were accosted by a gentleman (manager of sorts) telling us we cant park here, i explained we were booked in, there were zero vehicles in the car park as you can see in the pictures, we had to park our very expensive cargo in a shopping car park, i was not happy. we went to check in, the door to the hotel was locked, he came to the door and told us to come back at 4pm. we had been driving for 22 hours and we were exhausted, i asked if we could sit in the comfortable seats at the reception window and maybe buy a cup of tea. we were refused this and had to sit outside the hotel for around 4 hours in the cold. no access to a bathroom. i looked through the window several times and could see this gentleman sit in his cosy warm office. we met another traveller, who was staying at the hotel having difficulty accessing the hotel after walking her dog, she knocked on the door and also refused access. she was completely bemused and had to go back to her car. how very bizarre. when we eventually did gain access, the young girl at reception was very helpful. the gentleman in question was there and could see how exhausted we were and offered no apology. we travel regularly for work on government contracts and looking for safe spaces for our truck and cargo however we will avoid KYRIAD NORD Rouen in the future.... no access to food or tea. not impressed... most unwelcoming.|Perhaps your manager should take a course in customer service or get a different job that suits his capabilities.

Rooms are slightly below average for the price. One of the towels had a hole in it. No toilet brush. Noisy people outside our bedroom window very early in the morning. Noisy people walking in and out of their rooms. No restaurant as advertised on their website. Having said this, the lady at the reception was extremely nice.

Good budget hotel, stayed for three nights and had a peaceful and comfortable night every night. Easy to drive to and well placed to get a bus or cab into central Rouen. It’s also next door to a large shopping centre.

My car had broken down and my travel insurance had put me into a luxury hotel in central Rouen without explaining why or telling me that there would be a considerable sum of money that I would have to pay. I asked to be moved and they placed me at BritHotel Mont St Aignon.|My first impression was that the place was run down - the garden was untidy and full of weeds. Then I saw the notices which explained that it was a wild flower garden specifically to attract butterflies and bees ... the penny dropped. I learned soon afterwards that the hotel was on the edge of a piece of parkland, la Vatine, which I went to explore. I fell in love with the location.|Next door to the hotel is a hypermarket where I was able to buy some extra clothes - I had only been travelling with suffient for a single night's stop.|My bed was comfortable, my dinner in the restaurant was good, the self-service breakfast was also good.|I was treated with respect and kindness by the staff.||Je vais retourner ...||

It was a really lovely comfortable stay. Staff were super helpful and kind. Rooms were spotless and comfortable. We enjoyed this very much. The only down was being asked to pay tourist tax but my booking said that all taxes were incuded. Please amend this to show that tourist tax is not included in the booking. Other than that, a fantastic stay thank you!
