Hotel De La Couronne

I thought it was a great stay for a 4 star hotel, but turns out it was a 3 star hotel 😅 That’s how good this place was (nothing fancy, but everything convenient). A very short distance from the Liège-Guillemins train station, next to a grocery store, and a few restaurants. AC easy to use, water pressure good, and sound proof from the train station. Front desk were very friendly and helpful. Also, if you’re looking for a gym, Evolution Wellness Club is only 500 meters away, €10 to workout (take your own lock to use a locker there).

Great rooms with great service. convient location with public transit. The morning breakfast is wonderful. The only complaints are that it's required to take the elevator(stairwells are emergency only) and there is no place to store food in our room.

We stayed only one night in this hotel... and we are very happy with our choice. The staff is very friendly and helpful; easy and fast check-in. The location was excellent with plenty of restaurant options in the vicinity (we may have been lucky to find a spot for our car a hundred meters away from the hotel!); the room was quite spacious, spotless clean and comfortable with its en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was very good. Overall, we found the value provided very good in the context of the many places we visited during our trip in Belgium. Highly recommended!

The hotel is across the Liege Guillemins railway station, which walking distance is 5 minutes. Next to the Left and right to the hotel you have a Burger King, Carrefour, drinks bars, and restaurants. The rooms are big, the beds are comfortable and the bathroom as well. They offer English breakfast for a price of 18e. They have a small bar where you can buy drinks. The staff is professional and helpful.

I stayed here for 1 night after my overnight train to Berlin was cancelled. This was the prefect hotel for me, relatively cheap at €74 for the night and across the road from station. The staff were very friendly. My room was very clean with a comfortable bed and a really powerful shower. If I ever needed a hotel in Liege again I would definitely book here

We stayed at the hotel for two nights arriving by train and the hotel is ideal just across from the station. |All the reception staff we met were very friendly and pleasant.|We had breakfast the first morning and it was very enjoyable. |The room was very clean and well laid out. |Both night we didn’t have too good a night sleep as we were overlooking the air condition generators and there was a dog barking for most of the two nights which is a shame and not the hotels fault.

The hotel is okay. It is accesible to those who are going to Liege on train because it is near the train station. Parking your car is a bit far if you want a safe and paid parking. There are restaurant near the hotel and a store beside it. Aldi is also not far. Hotel is clean. There is a place in the 1st flr where you can sit down and have a quiet time. Room is okay.

We stay at Hôtel de la Couronne each time we come to Liège. Great location...near to the Guillemins train station and parking available at a nearby parking garage. On this trip we asked to change rooms and were immediately given a new room with no issue. Good breakfast buffet and great staff. We will stay here again.
